Job Description

Krispy Kreme's IT Messaging and Change Management Specialist will be responsible for shaping the messaging and transformation strategy of our IT team as we embark on a journey to modernize our technology and processes.


A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Create and deliver clear, consistent, and engaging messages to our internal and external stakeholders about our IT initiatives, events, and services.
  • Work closely with the CIO and the senior director of technology management to align the IT messaging with the overall IT vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with the IT project managers, engineers, and analysts to understand the technical aspects and impacts of our IT projects and changes.
  • Use your technical writing and communication skills to craft messages that are tailored to different audiences, channels, and formats, such as emails, newsletters, presentations, webinars, internal videos and blogs, etc. (Note that all corporate communications and external messaging will continue to be generated by the corporate communications team and will not be your responsibility.)
  • Play a key role in facilitating the change management process for our IT team.
  • Apply the best practices and methodologies of change management to support the IT team members and stakeholders through the transitions and transformations of our IT environment.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, readiness surveys, and feedback sessions to identify the needs, concerns, and expectations of the affected groups.
  • Work with the L&D team to support and implement change interventions, such as training, coaching, mentoring, and recognition programs, to enhance the adoption and utilization of the new IT systems and processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the change outcomes and benefits, and report on the progress and success of the change initiatives.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Master's degree English, writing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT communication, technical writing, or IT change management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a simple and concise way.
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts, terminology, and trends, and the ability to translate them into business value and benefits.
  • Proficient in using various communication tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, WordPress, etc.
  • Familiar with the principles and practices of change management, and the ability to apply them to IT projects and changes.
  • Proactive, creative, and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic IT environment.
