The Director of Corporate Accounts (DCA) will develop and grow business relationships with KOL's, buying groups, IDN's, the Government sales channels and key strategic accounts. This individual must possess an advanced understanding of upper level selling and advanced relationship growth and maintenance. This Director will cover the Eastern half of the United Sates and will focus on key strategic targets defined by the VP-Sales, the President, and Marketing leadership. Target is sales growth, establishing contracts with GPOs/IDN's that provide access for our sales teams to convert business and expand our market share. The Director will report to the VP-Sales with dotted line communication responsibility to Regional Sales Directors SM's, Product Managers, Marketing, Regulatory, and Service.
Responsibilities of the Director, Corporate Accounts:
  • Director of Corporate Accounts will be responsible for managing GPO contracts for the PENTAX.
  • Lead representative for the business at targeted hospital systems to develop and implement corporate strategy.
  • Partner with marketing on to develop new business programs to protect and drive new business.
  • Partner with legal and compliance to ensure business proposal are designed and executed in a legal and compliant manner.
  • Manage customer relationships at the system administrative level to explain the financial and
    clinical value to PENTAX Americas.
  • Manages strategic relationship with identified Key Accounts and serves as their internal representative. These key customers may be part of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), part of an established Health System, an academic hospital or be a Corporate Chain
  • Works in collaboration with Sales leadership to identify a strategy for identified strategic accounts to achieve access, sales and gross-to-net maximization for PENTAX Medical.
  • Supports entire Sales field Territory Managers and Regional Directors in sales to facilities affiliated with the assigned strategic targets.
  • Develop and support processes that advance the conversion, expansion of business within targeted accounts/group targets.
  • Using both traditional and creative techniques to develop relationships with key stakeholders, including attending events and trade shows, networking on social media, getting warm introductions, etc.
  • Take a leadership role in partnering with KOL and key institutions.
  • Work with named accounts to identify their challenges and opportunities and offer solutions.
  • Closely monitor accounts' satisfaction/activity and report on their status to Executive Staff.
Requirements of the Director, Corporate Accounts:
  • Advanced knowledge of the medical device national and corporate accounts landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area with at least 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Advanced level of business acumen and deal process expertise.
  • Experience with an advanced role at national trade shows, such as, DDW, ACG.
  • Comfortable with interaction at the administrative level and C-level leadership throughout various business groups. This includes but is not limited to regional hospitals, groups, ASC's, groups, teaching hospitals, and national purchasing entities.
  • Ability to act and react decisively and informatively.
  • Team player able to work in leading support role/negotiation contact point etc.
  • Communication skills to transfer information regulation to others in the sales organization.
  • Must possess an advanced understanding of upper-level selling and advanced relationship growth and maintenance.
  • Credibility with KOL's and key decision makers in national groups
  • Collaborative, fast-moving, and comfortable with change
