This position is based in Georgetown, Kentucky with a hybrid ix of some in-office time and some remote work.To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.Who we're looking forToyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (TMMK) Accounting & Finance is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Analyst for the Powertrain/Vehicle Parts Cost Management section.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead & support the life cycle of new and existing assets and cost functions for TMMK's Powertrain/Vehicle Parts Plant Operations.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the person in this role will provide accurate and timely financial information to support management's decision making, as well as, be a key resource to support the Powertrain/Vehicle Parts manufacturing groups.What you'll be doing
  • Lead TMMK Capital annual budget and quarterly forecast process to secure funds to support projects.
  • Lead process management of new assets from securing funds, purchase of asset, and release of asset into production.
  • Lead construction in process 'CIP' with the shop floor lead & TMNA PE lead to ensure timely and accurate asset hand over and release.
  • Support annual fixed asset physical inventory and reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly depreciation analysis, journal entry preparation, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report monthly Capital spending comparing actual vs. budget/forecast.
  • Support manufacturing shop floor through education and preparation of capital ringi's to secure project funding.
  • Provide direction to determine whether new cost to an existing asset meets the capitalization criteria.
  • Support vehicle/powertrain plant monthly General Stores Inventory cycle count audits, semi-annual Direct Raw Material audits, and annual Production Parts Physical Inventory.

This position will require an individual to have in-depth capital/asset/cost accounting knowledge and the ability to apply it to complex issues. Many issues may require the team member to draw upon their experiences to solve problems in a systematic and analytical way. This position will receive general direction from management, however, this individual will be required to work through many issues on their own without the continuous support of management. This individual will work with other sections in A&F, as well as with Manufacturing Shop Floor, Toyota Production Engineering, Production Control, Human Resources and NAMC's.What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Demonstration of past leadership in a cross functional environment

  • Experience with SAP Financials or BPC 'Business Planning & Consolidation' Planning
  • Automotive Industry Experience
  • Toyota Accounting & Finance Experience
