This position must be seen by the customer as bringing tangible value in terms of experience, knowledge and expertise. As a Domain Specialist for Network Operations, you will be responsible for strategic and tactical engagements with large global enterprise customers helping to build and grow value with our enterprise portfolio. Including:

  • Ensuring value alignment with strategic customers.

  • Building relationships across customer's or IT domains, bridging silos and unifying offerings to help all stakeholders. This includes enabling Executives and Practitioners through understanding, build, document and sharing our knowledge of their infrastructure, challenges and potential technical impact of planned projects.

  • Understand and act as a valued resource early and often within the customer's decision-making process (e.g. during the idea, discovery or conceptual stages).

  • Identify and lead adoption strategy and activities with customers.

  • Maintain account engagement and adoption information.

  • Maintain good understanding of the domain (functional and technical) in the Network Operations domain.

  • Maintain understanding of 3rd party solutions and tools related to the domain.

  • Perform demos and proof of value for the network monitoring solutions.

  • Present solution adoption roadmaps to customers.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Services, R&D, and Management to ensure synergy and consistency across solutions (in terms of technology, architecture and roadmap) in assigned customers.

  • Collaborate closely with other domain members within and across territories to ensure cross-pollination and collaborative learning.

  • Flexibility to pivot with customer feedback and constraints, collaboratively build solutions that enhance, extend and optimize their platforms

To qualify for this position, you will:

  • Have a bachelor's and 8+ years of related experience in IT technology or business related discipline.

  • Strong background in any of the following:

    • Network technology.

    • Network operations and/or support.

    • Network monitoring tools.

  • Eager and willing to understand our customers 'why'.

  • Skills necessary to shift customers from relationship to partnership.

  • Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions to solve those problems.

  • Strong understanding of business and IT management.

  • Excellent presentation skills, including software demonstration skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and spoken.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Self-drive and willingness to take ownership.

Additional experience in the follow is a plus:

  • Design and Planning network activity

  • SDN/SDWAN technologies

  • Broadcom NetOps Solution (Spectrum, Performance Manager, Network Flow

  • Analyzer, Virtual Network Assurance, AppNeta)

  • Sales or Presales experience

  • Cloud Enablement and Infrastructure Interoperability

  • Outcome based Automation driving Continuous Improvement, Productivity Improvement

  • DevOps, Agile, Service Management or Network-as-a-Service domains

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,200 - $152,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
