Description

The Treasury Management Sales Manager is responsible for the Treasury Management sales activities of the company including development of the new Treasury Management business, expansion of existing business relationships, and providing oversight for the servicing of Treasury Management customers. The individual is responsible for development of business plans including marketing strategies and sales objectives.

  • Develops sales strategies to drive new Treasury Management revenue growth and retention of existing portfolio
  • Prepares and attains annual sales and expense budgets
  • Leads and manages Treasury Management Sales Team; provides coaching and development to achieve goals and objectives
  • Act as a liaison between Treasury Management customers, sales staff and bank operational support staff and provides assistance to ensure Treasury Management customer service needs are satisfied
  • Builds and maintains internal relationships with commercial, retails and other line of business teams
  • Develops and maintains ongoing Treasury Management training for Treasury Management sales staff and bank employees
  • Manages personal sales production goals, business development and portfolio management
  • Recommends new products/services or modifications to ensure customer functional needs and service requirements are met

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience
  • 5-7 years Treasury Management experience, 5-7 years managing a sales team, proven sales success in the industry
  • Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
