Job Summary:

This position will perform financial reporting and analysis for the companies handled in the Service Center - InDyne and Reliance Test & Technologies. This position will support multiple contracts and will provide support to the Sr. Financial Analyst/Billing Supervisor and Finance Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will prepare and review monthly financial reports for internal and external customers.
  • Assist and prepare the development of CDRLs (Contract Deliverables) for Finance.
  • Run reports from CER (Costpoint Enterprise Reporting) and Costpoint Accounting software.
  • Possess analytical skills, effectively handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. At hoc financial reports when requested by InDyne and/or Program/Project Managers.
  • Backup duties for Billing Analyst to include preparation and submittal of complex invoices for government contracts and reconciliations.
  • Responsiblities include advanced skill set of Excel required inclusive of pivot creation and functionality.
  • Assist with invoicing on cost reimbursable contracts to include complex billing related reports.
  • Candidate should have proficient knowledge of Costpoint. Also requires experience with CER or Cognos report writer.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills. Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a professional manner.
  • Requires experience with reconciliations.
  • Update Small Business Reports. Monitor Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO).

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Experience with Costpoint and CER or Cognos required.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Advanced skill set for Excel required inclusive of pivot creation and functionality.
  • Proficient detailed knowledge of government contracting.
  • Experience and understanding of Costpoint and CER.
  • Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
