Job Description

Great Hill Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Manager ready to support a DHA audit program. This position will perform in-depth program analysis and financial management primarily related to the program. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative team environment and possess outstanding communication, leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be CPA, CDFM, CGFM or CISA OR have either a 4-year accounting degree from an accredited school or federal financial management and/or auditing experience.
  • An Active Secret Clearance (preferred)
  • Must be available to come on-site 3 day a week
  • Willingness to travel asneeded.

Desired Skills:

  • Possess the functional skills necessary to utilize GFEBS, GAFS-R, DEAMS, MHS Genesis, ABACUS, Advana and DDRS to successfully advance DHP Financial Reporting objectives and Universe of Transaction (Out) strategy and completeness.
  • Develop and deploy analytical techniques and tools to support the development and review of financial system data (e.g., quantitative drill down).
  • Proficiency in query languages and business intelligence programming including Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, Power BI and R, depending on extracting and compilation of like and unlike data from one or multiple sources.
  • Experience/familiarity with financial statements that are compliant with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Financial Management Regulation (FMR) requirements.
  • Ability to support the performance efforts of the MHS to prepare financial statements that are compliant with U.S. GAAP, OMB, and FMR requirements, while supporting its components and the transitioning MTFs, to include: collecting data, preparing and drafting of notes, financial statements, and other documentation for creation of the Agency Financial Report (AFR) adhering to deadlines
  • Experience Effectively designing/developing and providing broad-based communications and change management support for program management, financial management and business process improvement, standardization and other matters related to the overall mission.
  • Assist with development of standardized business processes and prompt the creation of the DHA Senior Assessment Team (SAT) in FY24. The SAT's priority is to drive the development of standardized business process narratives.
