As Simulation and Modeling Analyst Lead for Blue Halo, you will work with a team of analysts, modelers, software developers, and subject matter experts to lead the effort for analytical products from mission models and simulations for ground, air and space enterprise assets. You will lead and participate in mission and campaign-level planning and analysis of threat effects to DoD battlespaces and systems.
You work well in a team environment and lead by example. You have a knack for physics, mathematics, data analysis and communication. You have previous experience in directed energy systems, simulation of physical systems and data synthesis. You bring clarity of thought to the complexities of mission-level simulation to focus on delivering desired products for our customers. You bring strong technical experience with any of following: MATLAB, Python and other widely used data analysis tools. You are adept at using MS Office tools to communicate technical results.
Responsibilities
* Regularly coordinate with BlueHalo personnel and government partners to enhance our cross-domain modeling expertise in air-centered multi-domain analysis.
Candidate must have a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
* Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics or other related field and 8+ years of experience.
* Candidate must have strong understanding of engineering analysis, data analysis, probability and statistics as well as basic understanding of the physics of directed energy systems.
* Candidate must have excellent communication skills to clearly grasp customer requirements and convincingly convey analysis results.
* Candidate must demonstrate leadership and teamwork within a broad Modeling, Simulation and Analysis environment and the ability to develop analysis products that meet customer requirements.
* Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages is required: MATLAB or Python.
* Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
