Directs employees engaged in receiving, storing, issue, shipment and distribution of a variety of bin and bulk materials, equipment, and commodities using automated and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems
Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on projected workload on a weekly or monthly basis
Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Site Manager and/or Alternate Site Manager
Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations
Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work
Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and condition of the contract
Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience in distribution and warehousing using WMS or equivalent automated WMS within the past five (5) years
Basic Employment Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license
Must be on-site during the performance of the task order and must possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the project and shall be qualified to be the Contractors on-site supervisor and POC for government representatives
Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing Task Order or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work
Ability to establish project objectives or performance goals and assess progress
Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions
Must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve the delivery of services to the customers
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to work flexible shift hours (may vary as needed)
