As a Power Distribution Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to optimize the operation of our power distribution network. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including groups; grid operations, project management, IT and other engineering groups, to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement strategies to increase reliability, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from developing innovative distribution network designs to coordinating with crews and other operations personnel to troubleshoot and operate the electric power distribution system to meet power demands, increase reliability, and implement resilient strategies.
You will also be responsible for analyzing data and identifying trends and patterns to inform your decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in electrical engineering and power distribution operations, as well as experience in process optimization, data analysis, and project management. You should also be a strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams.
*We are hiring for one position. This position is open to both a Senior/p3 Engineer or an Intermediate p2 level Engineer. The level will be determine based on the successful applicant's qualification, experience, and demonstrated skills during the interview process. Position currently posted at Senior/p3 level. Compensation Range:
$81,450.00 - $160,500.00Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
