Job Description

Fire Protection Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor younger engineers
  • Design fire suppression, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems
  • Prepare 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Prepare documents and calculations for the LEED certification process.
  • Coordinate design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
  • Plan project production process.
  • Project Management.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prioritize effectively, has good follow-through, and practiced self-implemented quality control measures
  • Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering
  • PE strongly preferred.
  • Five+ (5+)
  • Previous leadership experience required.
