This summer, we are looking for an outstanding individual to fulfill our AI Developer and IT Operations Intern to join our team in Tysons, VA! This is a paid internship, and training will be provided to help you learn automation tools and techniques leveraging the Microsoft automation platform. This position will be on-site, with an average of 20 to 29 hours per week, and you will work under the direction of the CATHEXIS CTO. CATHEXIS will provide all training courses, a laptop, and licensing. This is a great opportunity for a rising high school senior, first- or second-year college student to get hands-on experience and mentorship. The internship is available from June 1^st-July 31^st, 2024.

The AI Developer activities will include:

• Receive training on developing AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Building AI chatbots that leverage generative AI prompts for responses
• Support CATHEXIS internal services by tailoring the bots to human resources and operation tasks
• Leverage Microsoft cloud solutions such as Azure AI studio, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and PowerAutomate to create synthetic solutions to improve teammate productivity

IT Operations activities will include:

• Supporting I.T. operations tasks on site in our office
• Management of I.T. assets such as provisioning/deprovisioning equipment, inventory control, and technical troubleshooting

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions
• Ability to think logically and plan work sequences.
• Ability to research error messages and solve problems.

Requirements:

• Work on-site in the Tysons office two to three days a week.
• Ability to work responsibly and independently.
• Desire to learn/apply generative AI solutions
• Willingness to support I.T. operations tasks on-site in our office in Tysons, VA
• 3.0 GPA or above
• Some development experience in common languages such as JavaScript or Python
