Summary
The Payroll Administrator II compiles payroll data to process and maintain payroll records. Participates in other functions such as cash flow, bank reconciliations, audit preparation, and back-up support to other roles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under general supervision, this person will be required to process timesheets and payroll data on a bi-weekly basis and assist with the preparation of payroll-related tax payments and account reconciliations. This person will be regularly assisting managers and other employees, so strong customer service skills are required. This person will have a willingness to assist other areas of the accounting department, as needed.
The right person will have experience processing payroll data for a variety of labor types. This position requires the ability to work with differing sets of regulations per contract, while still ensuring employee compliance with federal and state labor laws. Familiarity with the DoD or any other job-costing environment is helpful, as is experience using Deltek's Time & Expense or Costpoint. Candidates must be highly organized, with strict attention to detail and the ability to maintain employee confidentiality.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
