Overview: Seeking a Sales Manager with a strong background in compressed air equipment sales and proven leadership in sales team management. The role demands strategic business development, effective sales pipeline oversight, and the achievement of sales goals. Responsibilities include leading Sales Engineers, fostering strategic relationships within customer organizations (across purchasing, maintenance, and engineering), and ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth. A proactive mindset for cultivating both existing and new accounts, with a pre-existing market presence, is essential. The role focuses on leveraging our flagship product to capitalize on significant market opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct and support territory sales, including strategy development, objective setting, technical support, CRM oversight, and team leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing to market utility services comprehensively.
  • Forge connections with mid-sized businesses for new opportunities.
  • Drive revenue by achieving sales targets through market analysis, forecasting, and lead management.
  • Strengthen client base by building relationships, understanding needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate with sales, service and engineering teams to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to increase product line revenue.
  • Conduct sales visits and demonstrations to expand our market presence.
  • Pursue utility service opportunities with business units.
  • Develop and execute sales plan for an emerging market for mid-sized factories
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
Position Details:
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop growth strategies.
  • Geographic scope includes SC/GA, AL/MS, Dallas, and Houston.
  • Report to the Senior Director of Sales, USG Group.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • College degree preferred, alongside a minimum of two years of experience in compressed air equipment sales, or a comprehensive six years of sales experience in the industrial technology sector.
  • Minimum of two years in sales management, with multi-territory leadership preferred.
  • Proactive prospecting with a dedication to fieldwork.
  • Deep passion for and understanding of the compressed air industry.
  • Strategic thinker with a vision for territorial growth.
  • Skilled in presentations and communication across platforms.
  • Innovative problem solver with a flair for identifying new business opportunities.
