LMI seeks a skilled Requirements Analyst Support Subject Matter Expert to support a CBP PMO in the National Capital Region. The Requirements Analyst Support Subject Matter Expert will work with systems engineers, program managers, and technical subject matter experts to plan and execute technology demonstration, system development testing, operational testing, operational assessment, and other T&E related activities.

Responsibilities
    Support OA with establishing and implementing the processes and procedures to define, document, and manage the Operational Capabilities necessary to fulfill the mission of the CBP operational components supporting the following areas:
    • Coordinate and engage with CBP operational components to ensure operational and technical requirements accurately represent their needs.
    • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), Alternative Analysis (AA) and DOTMLEPF (Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facility) to identify potential materiel and non-materiel solutions.
    • Establish and apply metrics to evaluate the performance of existing tools and systems;
    • Collect, analyze, and manage operational requirements for traceability.
    • Define and manage the capability portfolios to identify capability gaps.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 3-10 years of experience or master's degree in related field with 2 years of experience or PhD; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
  • Some knowledge of DHS and/or DoD acquisition life cycle framework and systems engineering life cycle framework
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent performer who can perform well in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities.
  • Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the customer as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing individual duties.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
