Your missions :

Job Summary and Purpose:

The Territory Manager sells Ceva products and programs and builds relationships that provide value to our customers in order to achieve Ceva financial and business objectives that align with Ceva's core values and culture. The Territory Manager position is a product sales and service role for poultry producers within the designated territory.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

Meet all financial and business objectives for assigned geography or customer base:

* Meet or exceed sales goals within assigned geography or customer base

* Effectively manage territory expenses according to budget

* Maintain a high level of forecast accuracy

* Professionally represent Ceva at all relevant industry events

Build long-term strategic relationships that are mutually beneficial for Ceva and the customer:

* Conduct regular visits/meetings with key personnel and decision makers to increase the conversion rate

* Be the "first call" and trusted advisor to the customer

* Educate customers on Ceva products and trends in the industry

* Effectively communicate inventory challenges by providing real time updates on autogenous schedules and other inventory issues.

* Be present when vaccine is first delivered

* Gather industry info from the customers (LT breaks, disease breaks)

* Entertain customers on Ceva sponsored events

* Help with job placements

* Build and maintain trust and rapport

* Audit hatchery vaccinations with Ceva vaccines

* Occasionally deliver vaccines when required

* Complete all administrative responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner:

* Effectively utilize CRM for reporting and inventory updates.

* Submit expense reports that are timely and accurate

* Ensure the sales forecast is timely and accurate

* Complete other reporting tasks by required deadlines (Wheels, Accounting, Mgmt Updates)

* Ensure custom order paperwork is submitted and accurate

* Complete Hazmat certification for transporting Liquid Nitrogen

Communicate, collaborate and coordinate internal partners to achieve customer, business, and financial objectives:

* Effectively communicate with Veterinary Services in a timely matter Ensure communication of necessary customer information to management

* Effectively and proactively communicate with Key Account Managers, Scientific Services, Customer Service and Vaccination Services to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.

* Prioritize using personal communication (phone calls) above emails and conference calls.

Manage and prioritize all activities to meet territory objectives:

* Identify and manage business in two groups : Current customers and areas for growth

* Agree on schedule that works for both customer and TM - provides value and volume

* Structure monthly and quarterly plans to achieve annual goals

* Maintain knowledge of Ceva as well as competitors product as a means of self-improvement

* Manage and allocate available funds and resources to achieve territory and business goals.

Be the customer advocate for Ceva:

* Bring customer's needs (PPPs) to poultry leadership team at Ceva

* Fight for supply for customer - products and resources

* Uncover issues happening in the field and escalate the issues as required.

* Surface product related issues

* Be an advocate for a customer need that Ceva doesn't currently have solution for - help solve the problem - share innovative ideas or other problem resolutions.

Professionally represent Ceva:

* Participate and sponsor industry meetings

* Meet and create awareness at universities, poultry science depts., vets and key opinion leaders.

* Communicate industry needs to Ceva leadership

* Coordinate customer meetings with senior Ceva leadership

* Maintain a professional and ethical image

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field is preferred or equivalent relevant experience

Work Experience: Strong poultry production experience of 3-5 years with knowledge and expertise of the overall poultry industry required. Proven track record in outside sales preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be willing and able to spend 8+ hours per day in vehicle. Must have a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

Able to work in industry standard food animal production environments such as hatcheries, poultry barns and processing facilities

Travel Required:

Minimum of 60% overnight travel required; the amount varies by territory.
