Our 22-bed inpatient unit provides trauma-informed care to a mixed demographic of patients, from students to geriatric, who are experiencing a range of issues from mood disorders to chronic, long-term issues, as well as individuals dealing with a dual diagnosis. Nurses on the unit are scheduled for 8-hour shifts and each shift is staffed with a Charge Nurse, Floor Nurses, and a Medication Nurse. Therapy options include occupational therapy (OT) and psychotherapy groups, an art room for creative expression, and a sensory room to assist patients with destimulation.
