Job Description

Job Title: Analyst Senior Automation

Department: I&E

Summary: The SCADA / Automation Analyst Senior is responsible for the maintenance and operation SCADA and communication systems, system performance, and coordination of SCADA projects with internal stakeholders while liaising with external vendors. This position will also perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for automation systems. XSPOC and Topserver configuration is also part of the routine duties and responsibilities for this position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and update SCADA system and applications across Company assets
  • Serve as System Administrator for XSPOC and maintain Microsoft-based SCADA servers and network equipment
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements for enhancing the SCADA system
  • Work with Diamondback Control Center to help troubleshoot all monitor tags and alarms; providing automation expertise
  • Build, maintain, and update the associated displays/Views required for operations
  • Collaborate and coordinate with IT to apply SCADA cybersecurity best practices
  • Investigate root cause of problems using P&IDs and loop diagrams
  • Configure XSPOC and TopServer to collect data from field RTU's
  • Provide timely updates on special projects and system performance to ensure operational excellence
  • Coordinate daily meetings and scheduling of activities with team members and contractors

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2+) years of automation related experience
  • Experience with Ignition, XSPOC, Canary, OPC
  • Knowledge in SCADA network architecture
  • Experience in relational databases and ability to write using SQL and scripting language
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to satisfy insurability standards to drive a company vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical Certification in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with SQL Server tuning
  • Experience in Python scripting, virtual platforms, and infrastructure
  • Experience with Lowis, Rockwell application library, Cygnet
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQLServer database

Oklahoma City, OK or Midland, TX
