Why do we need you ?

This position is responsible for process and system controls to ensure integrity and accuracy within product pricing. In addition, this position performs research and analysis on price change requests, margin impacts of pricing and is the key contact supporting our SPG sales team and Product Management. The position works closely with internal customers and enables product management and sales to make appropriate business decisions. This position also must ensure legal compliance and changes are made in accordance with business policies and procedures.

  • Pricing Management and Control - Lead the SPG Pricing Function in all aspects of pricing management including price changes, pricing recommendations for strategic request from sales and product management, new lines of business set up, etc.
  • Pricing Analysis - Perform margin impact for changes to pricing, analyze pricing trends impacting customers/markets/regions, develop reporting of such analysis to bring visibility of pricing/margin key drivers to Management
  • Master Data Management - Work closely with the Central Master Data teams to ensure all pricing master data is maintained, as well as set up appropriately for new sku's and customers
  • SAP and Price FX Super User - Business Process owner for SPG PFx community; SAP subject mater expert for all pricing related concerns
  • Continuous Process improvement - Consistently evaluate current practices and recommend new and better ways of managing pricing databases, maintaining integrity, and decreasing cycle times. Identify areas within the department that could be automated and develop BOT/AI solutions to improve efficiency

To make sure nothing is forgotten
  • Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, Business or Systems preferred
  • 8+ years experience in Pricing, Customer Service and/or Data Management, Finance or systems
  • Strong proficiency in systems and PC applications (Excel and Access).
  • Price Fx and SAP experience required; Artificial Intelligence / BOT experience preferred
  • Attention to detail and penchant for accuracy is critical
  • Customer Service Oriented/Customer centric approach (both internal and external customers)
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create formulas, macros and pivot tables to improve efficiency with data
