Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Generate and send out invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing details and compliance with contract terms.
  • Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports, including aging reports, and regularly review outstanding accounts to identify and act on delinquent accounts.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing discrepancies and questions, engaging in proactive customer service to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Facilitate swift payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts.
  • Contribute to the monthly and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and customer service teams to enhance revenue collection processes and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain procedures for effective credit control and collection processes.
  • Assist with audit preparation as it relates to accounts receivable activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an accounts receivable role or a similar position.
  • Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working well with both clients and internal teams.
