Job Description

Vaco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Manager to lead areceivables team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional results. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within afinance department while contributing to the continued success of our manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the accounts receivable process, improve collections, and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions for resolution.
  • Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve payment issues.
  • Prepare regular reports and analyses to track receivables performance and provide insights for management decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards related to accounts receivable.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of accuracy, integrity, and customer service.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
