Job Description:
This mechanic will be required to troubleshoot systems, conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft systems and components, including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Mechanic will apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and airworthiness. They will apply required expertise in restoring aircraft to airworthy condition by interpreting technical documents, such as manufacturer's manuals, Airworthiness Directives and Technical Bulletins.This position will be based at our Richfield and Moab Utah and Page Arizona Air Bases
Shift will be 20 days on / 10 day off
Performs daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at their home base and satellite locations.
Schedules, coordinates, and completes scheduled maintenance and inspections in a timely manner.
Documents, maintains, and completes aircraft records in accordance with FAA and Intermountain requirements.
Tracks aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasks in computer database.
Responsible to maintain company-owned special tools and equipment in good working order. Ensures calibration requirements are met.
Assists as requested in the transport of equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to medical equipment and medical drug bags with controlled substances.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in the aviation field.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license.
Two years aviation maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and respective turbine engines.
Preferred Qualifications
Bell 407 and 429 experience with factory training.
Understanding / proficiency of track and balance and equipment procedures. Advanced Troubleshooting Training / Experience
