What We're Seeking

The position is part of the Global TASKI Purchasing Organization and is responsible for effective and efficient Purchasing Floor Care Machines (FCM) components and finished goods for TASKI NAM. The total annual spend in FCM equals around $100M globally. The role is directly involved in managing approx. $ 10M to $ 15M in expenditures. Aligns with the global procurement organization to ensure standardized practices and strategies are followed. This role reports to the TASKI Procurement Director.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the TASKI NAM sourcing processes for all components for supply to our NAM TASKI (NSS) factory following established global strategic sourcing processes to deliver the highest quality and lowest total cost, whilst working collaboratively with the NAM TASKI R&D, Supply Chain and Production organization.
  • Supplier scouting and technical judgement of right manufacturing processes.
  • Technical background of sourcing electrical components like power cords, wire harnesses, chargers, PCB's and batteries and mechanical components like plastic and metal parts.
  • Prepare and implement purchasing strategies that include supplier selection, setting up 1-3-year supplier agreements, pricing terms/conditions, logistics and timing.
  • Identify & Implement cost savings projects which meet or exceed company objectives while ensuring quality and reliable supply.
  • Coordinate ongoing supplier performance to meet or exceed all metrics regarding service, performance, quality, cost, and sustainability.
  • Join cross-functional and multi-regional project teams working on new product developments and launch planning for TASKI innovation projects. Provide reports on status and progress.
  • Collaborate closely with technical department, planning department and manufacturing operations, to coordinate & implement portfolio changes either for savings or innovations at suppliers.
  • Support inflation price forecasts on market developments.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in engineering.
  • 3+ years of purchasing experience, global purchasing is a plus, in purchasing, supply chain, and/or experience with Floor Care Machines category.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams with strong cultural awareness to manage both domestic NAM, European and low-cost-country (LCC) suppliers with an interest to operate comfortably both at the strategic as well as the tactical/operational levels.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective facilitation skills - Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
  • Attention-to-detail.
  • Action-orientated.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Comfortable in the implementation and activation of strategies and removing roadblocks along the way.
  • Experience and working knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office especially Excel
  • Ability to travel as needed by the business.

Pay Range:$78,300.00-105,420.00
