This NSF project will look at the development of math anxiety in young children and is ideal for a candidate seeking additional research experience or skills prior to applying to graduate school. Position Summary | This Social Science Technician position will recruit families to participate in the research study, screen participants for eligibility, run participant visits (which involve collecting observational and physiological data, conducting child cognitive tests and interviews, and administering surveys to parents), track participants' contact information and contact them for follow-up visits, manage participant data, and assist with processing of observational and physiological data. Position involves working some nights and weekends, depending on participant availability. The position is available for one year and maybe renewable for another year, contingent on availability of funds. |
