Overview

The Senior HR Consultant for Enterprise Teammate Connections & Recognition serves as a strategic program manager reporting to the director, enterprise Teammate Connections & Recognition. Our team activates teammates around HR's purpose, promise and programs to increase engagement in our culture, experience, recognition, and change to engage and retain talent across the enterprise.

This role partners with Advocate Health Total Rewards leadership and other HR centers of excellence to drive HR programs that deliver on the organization's promise and express the teammate value proposition for its 155,000 teammates. The Senior HR Consultant is responsible for helping to drive culture, change management and leadership engagement on numerous enterprise HR initiatives with a focus on driving engagement in benefits, well-being programs, compensation and others to ensure leaders and teammates understand our Total Rewards offerings.

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Experience: 6 to 9 years of communications-related experience. Experience in Human Resources preferred. Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, project management skills, business acumen, computer skills and ability to multi-task.

This position manages a small team and possibly contractors.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a strategic partner and communications expert driving Total Rewards initiatives across the enterprise and in-market
  • Develop, manage and monitor all aspects of communications and activation plans for Total Rewards (including benefits, retirement, compensation, well-being, among others) from concept through implementation to include research, writing key messages, producing collateral, managing email/newsletter/intranet page copy, editing complex and/or sensitive content including leader talking points, slide presentations and FAQs
  • Create and manage complex plans intended to drive teammate engagement and behavior change
  • Manage multiple enterprise-wide HR activation projects, sometimes simultaneously, while ensuring quality and excellence
  • Ensure brand alignment for teammate communications and channel
  • Track and drive measurable objectives to align and support HR priorities with intended outcomes
  • Meet deadlines with a quick turnaround while remaining focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead enterprise-wide meetings with executives and other key stakeholders
