Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Maintenance Tech located in Palmetto, FL.

This facility primarily manufactures liquefied natural gas (LNG) heat exchangers. Each heat exchanger consists of coil wound tube bundles housed within an aluminum or stainless-steel pressure vessel shell, all of which are assembled and welded by skilled employees at the plant. The heat exchanger is the heart of the LNG process and will be shipped to customers throughout the world.

Skilled position requiring mechanical, electrical and electronics maintenance and troubleshooting experience to install, maintain and repair all shop equipment, machinery, buildings, and company products. Use hand and power tools, conventional machine tools, welding and cutting tools, material handling equipment, blueprint, drawing and schematic reading, and knowledge of codes and regulations to perform assigned work.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Industrial Control Systems and AC/DC Motor Drive Systems Troubleshooting and repair PLC Controlled equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot using electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping schematics.
  • Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic repair experience.
  • Industrial Electricity (Based on NEC).
  • Industrial Mechanical repair.
  • Basic Electronics knowledge utilization.
  • Manufacturing and facility Preventive Maintenance program support.
  • 480VAC/3/60 electrical troubleshooting.
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • PLC experience, a plus
  • SAP experience, a plus

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Previous electrical\mechanical\maintenance experience required.

Work Hours: Monday- Friday
