Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Problem resolution conduit for specific business areas related to issues involving Logistics management gaps and defects.
  • Parcel contract and performance management including pricing, site selection, and capacity solutions.
  • Coordination and roll out support of key fulfillment solutions and customer requirements with distribution and transportation operations teams.
  • Coordination with demand planning teams and alignment with forecast/ budget targets
  • Support of client programs and fulfillment operations related to OEM foam distribution.
  • Defect analysis and solution design for site specific Logistics related concerns.
  • Operational support of continuous improvement initiatives by reducing Logistics costs while maintaining high delivery service levels and posturing Tempur Sealy for future logistics optimization.
  • Coordination of all shipping processes and adherence
  • Serve as key Parcel program SME and main point of contact for Tempur Sealy (regional plants and DCs)
  • Identify opportunities, support, and track shipments within a consolidated format (Tempur branded and Sealy branded) from DC points within the network to the plant operations/ combining orders within the same delivery mode and routes.
  • Accrual file validation/ Cost per unit by destination location
  • Perform Engineering freight cost analytics along with carrier payment analytics.
  • Distribute various financial reports to on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Work as a team member to think conceptually about ways to efficiently collect data and enhance the database to maximize results/outcomes.
  • Play a key role driving changes in the network through implementing standard work, making existing processes more efficient, looking for solutions to recurring problems, and building cross-functional teams to make these changes sustainable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

  • Education/experience: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ yrs. experience in transportation or billing / accounting type job preferred.
  • 2+ yrs. experience related to parcel contract management and pricing structure2.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Software Programs (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate insights to others.
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems
  • Thorough Knowledge of Transportation/Freight Billing
  • Ability to meet deadlines; prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, suppliers and finance personnel.
