The Flight Simulator Technician II Maintains, Troubleshoots and repairs the flight simulators & associated Equipment.
Perform repairs of digital / analog circuity
Visual system/displays repair & alignments
Hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Off equipment bench repair to component level
Assist/Run FAA quality test guide tests/Mark up
Accomplish post flights/pre-flights
Performs simultor preventative maintenance
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Working knowledge of computer programming
High School Diploma / GED
Basic understanding of electronic principles, test equipment, soldering techniques and computer systems
Must have two (2) years, hands on experience working on simulators or in an electronics / mechanical repair type field.
Ability to lift 75lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) year degree in electronics, equivalent vocational training, or military training.
