We are seeking a Roofing Service Technician for our Sioux Falls, SD location.
This Roofing Service Technician will be responsible for the management and growth of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program, Tecta Tracker and providing administrative and customer service support to the Service Manager & Service Department. This a full-time position that will report to the Service Manager.
Job Functions Include:
- Responsible for data entry of customer information into Tecta America's web-based asset management database; Tecta Tracker
- Manage Tecta Tracker program features including Preventative Maintenance inspections, assessments, budgets, service calls/repairs and customer profiles
- Perform site inspections and roof take-offs
- Help develop safety plans and conduct site safety audits
- Work closely with service manager and service coordinator with scheduling and processing service requests
- Assist with the preparation of customer reports for service manager and service coordinator
- Work with service manager to understand where/how to generate additional leads and referrals
- Partner with clients to establish their needs
- Prepare and deliver customer reports
- Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record is required
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of various commercial roofing systems is preferred
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and mange time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly customer service oriented
