We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Dental Therapy Assistant (Expanded Functions Dental Assitant) to work at Fort Moore formally known as Fort Benning. Job Duties:

• Chairside dental assisting

• Radiology

• Sterilization

• Occasionally help with patient scheduling, although you will not work routinely as a medical clerk or receptionist

• You will perform essentially the same duties as those required of any military or government civil service expanded function dental assistant or similar experience and in similar duty assignments

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a formal dental assistant program longer than 1 year

• Have at least1 year of experience as a Dental Therapy Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

• Must have completed training or have dental assisting experience within the past three (3) years

• Certification in Radiology or a willingness to acquire one before official submittal, that validates you have completed radiology courses on the following topics: radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation health, safety and protection, X-ray films and radiographic film quality, and radiographic techniques

• BLS card through the Red Cross or American Heart Association
