Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for a Closures Engineering Design Intern (Mechanisms) for the summer to join the Closures Engineering Design Team in Superior Township, MI.
Essential Duties:
Support Development of a "Smart Vehicle Entry System" Using AI Machine Learning Technology
Assist with a Working Demonstration Buck With Holding Fixture, Sensors, Cameras, LIDAR, AI "Python" Computer Programming, etc.
Create and present reports to Engineers and Management summarizing findings
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Background in ECU programing
Will help in designing the logic and the code for the AI system and will have the ability to convert different programing languages (Ex: Matlab to Python).
Develop and execute code for ECU in a vehicle
Should be able to gather and manipulate data from different types of sensors and process the gathered data in ECU
Familiar with vehicle sensors
Should be able to recognize different types of sensors on vehicle and should have experience in working with sensors on vehicle
Familiar with CAD programs
Should be able to review and check 3D data for surrounding parts when needed
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
