Position Summary/Purpose:

Minnwest is seeking an individual for a full-time Business Banker position in our Luverne market. Business Bankers have a critical role in providing a knock-out customer experience and ensuring that our customers are our first priority.  Business Bankers are responsible for all aspects of agricultural and commercial business development. Manage their own credit portfolio and cross-sell other bank services, primarily deposit accounts and treasury management services. Business Bankers solicit prospects and customers for loan and deposit business. You will team with other Business Bankers to assist with relationship management, ongoing customer communication and active cross selling of related products/services.   Responsible for originating and servicing agricultural and commercial loans in accordance with the bank’s service standards and loan policy.   
 

You are the face of the bank to many of our customers. You hold an important role in developing strong and professional relationships with our customers and ensuring that Minnwest is the best bank in the market.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years agricultural or commercial lending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Specific, formal credit training or equivalent
• Minimum of six college accounting credits, including ability to analyze complex balance sheets, income statement ratios and cash flow statements
• Sales Prospecting, Planning and Organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Action-oriented: the ability to recognize and act on problems with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
• Ability to gather an analyze customer needs and feedback and propose customer-centric solutions to meet their needs
• Build strong customer relationships and ability to build customer loyalty

Working Conditions: 
Work indoors in a standard office environment. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. May involve traveling for training or meetings.
