Halff has an immediate opening for a Professional Civil Engineer (P.E.) to be the Senior Project Manager in our Florida Transportation Practice. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering design experience with a focus on delivering and managing projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Transportation Design Senior Project Manager (P.E.) Responsibilities:
  • Lead a design team, coordinate with clients and lead delivery of transportation design projects for FDOT, with Districts 1 and 7 preferable.
  • Demonstrate the ability for business development and marketing.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships within the industry.
  • Work closely with the Florida Transportation Practice Leader in developing growth strategy for the region.
Transportation Design Senior Project Manager (P.E.) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil, public works or transportation project delivery
  • Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of FL, or able and willing to obtain within 6 months of start date
  • Ability to lead a project, and supervise technical staff
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player and a person of high character with a focus on quality, integrity and success.
  • Flexible on location and hours
