The Regional Construction Manager supports the Regional Construction Team in executing all capital expenditure, vacant space preparation & tenant improvement projects in their geographic area. The Regional Construction Manager will be responsible for supporting the budgeting, organizing, tracking, and execution of all projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executes all capital projects as determined by their Regional Construction Team.

  • Leading the execution of lease-based projects, standard vacant space preparation and support leasing with deal creation.

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with vendors throughout the market to build a strong and positive reputation for LINK Logistics Real Estate.

  • Provide support for contract & invoice related documentation for their team as well as maintaining up to date job data within Link's data platform

  • Lead communication with regional construction, construction operations, property management, and leasing teams. Starting to influence cross functional partnerships.

  • Perform timely project & budgetary updates along with respective backup documentation.

  • Assist the Regional Construction Team in providing budgetary guidance to the acquisition/disposition teams to help with deal creation and overall understanding of total cost and project schedule.

  • Serve as a main point of contact for Contractors and Consultants regarding construction related issues.

  • Drive solutions for all projects within the region, supporting regional teams with planning and documentation.

  • Develop and implement scope, communicate and report to vendors, contractors and cross functional teams.

  • Travel as necessary to support construction related activities and any other related construction projects/issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction/building science, engineering or architecture and design strongly preferred.

  • 5+ year's experience and expertise in new construction, renovation/rehab, development, and industrial construction.

  • Ability to review and comprehend construction documents

  • Experience with project management software, Yardi, Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam and Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of renovation/construction.

  • Experience reviewing and identifying critical details from lease documentation.

  • Understanding of legal contracts, AIA documents, and other related construction draw forms.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

  • Must possess a highly developed acumen in problem solving, communication, organization, and business analytics.

$100,000 - $115,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
