The Demand Planner will partner with different stakeholders to determine appropriate production schedules that best meet customer and sales demand. This position also serves as the subject matter expert on how to best utilize the Oracle MRP to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the production schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
  • Identifying and resolving production issues that may cause delays or quality issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of production data such as inventory levels, production output, and downtime.
  • Analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize production processes.
  • Partners with management/departments on matters related to production, fulfillment planning, forecasting, and problem solving.
  • Must maintain a well-balanced focus between external and internal customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field or related
  • 2 to 5 years experience in manufacturing, production management or production planning.
  • Be proficient in using MRP Software (Oracle preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in the master data (such as BOMs Routings, Item Master Attributes, etc.) that drives the forecasting, planning, production scheduling, and shipping functionality.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
