Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Logistician 3

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree. Current Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training), or possess an additional two (2) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

Experience:

  • Six (6) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 8 years if not DAWIA Level 1 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes. Four (4) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems.
  • Demonstrated management skills, to include Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Secret Level Clearance required, can support higher levels.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain the proper configuration management database (CMPro) to ensure proper handling and tracking of all equipment associated with the programs.
  • Ability to create and build Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and Technical Drawing Packages (TDP) for systems and send to Life-cycle Logistician and Equipment Specialists (EQ) as well as provide drawings of all parts being provisioned.
  • Ability to create and process logistics documentation, (i.e., DD149s, DD1348s, DD250s, etc.)
  • Ability to research all part numbers, H6 part descriptions, national stock numbers (NSN) and Cage codes for all systems as well as provide Source Maintenance and Recoverability (SMR) codes.
  • Ability to build Fielding folders (SL-3, Scheduled Maintenance, LTI and Packing List) for systems being shipped out for fielding events.
  • Ability to maintain and inventory all material and equipment, in various local locations, under NIWC Procurement contracts.

Job Description:

VNE is seeking a Logistician 3 to support the research & development, test and evaluation, fielding, documentation development, configuration management, software engineering and integration, training, fielding and sustainment, cybersecurity, and program management of United States Marine Corps Signals Intelligence programs.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
