Responsibilities

Come join our team and love what you do! We are currently hiring a full time Director of Utilization Management (UM) for Compass Intervention Center! The UM Director is responsible for ensuring that the development, implementation and evaluation of department policies and procedures are in compliance with all corporate, Joint Commission, federal, state and local regulations. The UM Director serves as a patient rights advocate for the facility. The UM Director oversees and manages the U.M. staff. The UM Director maintains a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team and all other departments. The UM Director performs other duties as assigned.

Compass Intervention Center is a fully accredited, 108-bed residental psychiatric hospital providing quality care adolsents. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment.

Qualifications

Education: MA/MSW or RN hightly preferred or Bachelor's degree in Soical Science.

Experience: Five years of clinical experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting is preferred. Prior experience in the utilization and review function is highly preferred. Previous management experience in supervision or administration is preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: Licensure/Certifications: Currently maintains an active RN license, in good standing, issued by the Tennessee Board of Registered Nursing.

Additional Requirements: Ability to work with child and adolescent populations as demonstrated through educational accomplishment or work experience. A working knowledge of Joint Commission patient rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to Patients rights and utilization review.
