Planning & Insights Manager, Accommodations

Whether it's hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to priceline customers - so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.

As a Planning and Insights Manager - Accommodations, you will be a subject matter authority on accommodation business metrics and trends and formulate project ideas, resolve where opportunity exists and implement new strategies to enhance business growth.

In this role you will get to:

  • Collaboration with accommodation team functional heads on strategic projects, org planning and analytical insights.

  • Supervise performance and supply metrics or irregularities and diagnose issues or opportunities.

  • Lead a business partnership with an accommodation vertical or strategic objective and drive that area forward, aligning customers and resources to meet the objective.

  • Identify and build action plans to take on sophisticated cross functional business opportunities and challenges.

  • Handle a backlog of projects and work closely with analytics resources to prioritize work.

  • Partner with accommodation team partner services to understand business needs, redefining those needs into requirements and projects to improve team efficiency and output.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and customers, including senior level team

Who you are:

  • Minimum 3+ years of Strategic Development or Consulting experience, travel or ecommerce/retail industry preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Business, or similar field. MBA or other advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

  • Demonstrate ability to extract value from data and connect insights to business outcomes

  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical and communication skills, comfortable working independently, strong listener, innovator, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • A standout colleague with a professional "get it done" demeanor and work ethic

  • Strong prioritization and planning skills; must be comfortable making trade-offs vs. trying to get it all done

  • Advanced level Microsoft office skills. Experience with SQL or querying language a plus

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.

The salary range for this position is $105000 to $130000
