Responsibilities

The Transaction Attorney serves as in-house counsel and transactional counsel to successfully lead and execute current and future transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments and joint ventures, as well as all other transactions with third parties.

As lead transactional counsel, the Transaction Attorney will review and draft agreements, and negotiate terms that support the organizational goals specific to each transaction as well as advise in support of assessment and preliminary review, negotiation and LOI, due diligence, negotiations and closing, and post-closure integration and implementation. Further, the Transaction Attorney serves as subject matter expert in hospital and healthcare regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

    Minimum of five (5) years of experience with acute-care hospital M&A transactions
  1. Proven track record of successfully completing and supporting transactions
  2. Position is based at the Corporate headquarters in Ontario, CA with requirement to practice from Corporate offices

Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $300,000.00 to $550,000.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
