Overview

MRR Equipment Specialist

Location: Elizabeth City, NC

Clearance: Active Secret

Provide the USCG Air Logistics Center Medium Range Recovery (MRR) Division in the performance and/or administration of clerical and technical duties that support the procurement of supplies and services.

Responsibilities

* Initiate, investigate, process, and coordinate Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and supply item change records with engineering.

* Ability to determine the quantity, type, and potential sources of supply required to satisfy material requirements and stay within the constraints of the time and budget of the maintenance or support project.

* Coordinate TCTOs, aircraft and harness kit provisioning, and issuance of kits.

* Analyze documentation to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and completeness of technical documentation to support the life cycle of assigned items.

* Conduct review and analysis of data and items for interchangeability or substitution, tolerance factor of special equipment components, standardization, inventory consolidation, long lead time items, support items, proprietary issues, right to data issues, and multiple sources of supply.

* Trace and obtain the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders using automated or manual files and through interaction with procurement personnel, supply technicians, inventory managers, and engineers.

* Assemble and prepare information/data by gathering and consolidating pertinent information.

* Research, document, validate, maintain purchasing and contract records in the Open Obligation Validation Application (OOVA) or equivalent applicable financial system.

Qualifications

Required:

* Minimum three (3) years' experience in aviation related engineering functions.

* Intermediate user of Microsoft Office applications.

* Ability to use computer systems for a variety of purposes such as databases, work processing, graphics, USCG ALMIS, USCG AMMIS, or equivalent military system.

* Ability to perform trend analysis.

* Ability to complete a supply chain analysis of aircraft parts.

* The ability to complete Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) packages and provide technical assistance to those collecting information and building MIPR packages.

* Understanding of Project Management techniques utilized in procurement management in building a SOW from an existing WBS to clearly communicate engineering tasks to be accomplished.

* Practical knowledge of operations, regulations, and programs.

* Possess a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred:

* Two (2) years' experience directly related to maintenance/support of the Sikorsky H-60 family of aircraft is preferred.

* One (1) years' experience in the current production configuration of USCG's MH-60T aircraft is preferred.
