Torch Technologies is seeking an Avionics Engineer to work in the LRSO at Eglin AFB, FL. The selected candidate will review contractor designs, perform independent analysis, and provide recommendations to the government concerning the designs. The team is responsible for reviewing contractor proposed test plans and ensuring they are adequately specific to test all the relevant requirements. The team may observe testing as needed and will be required to review test results and ensure adequate analysis is contained in test reports. A team member must be able to apply technical knowledge in support of failure analysis and be an active participant in any root cause/corrective action investigations with the electronic assemblies. Knowledge of HEMP, TEMPEST, and EMI/EMC testing is valued, but not required.
