How you'll make an impact:

We are seeking a highly strategic, creative and driven brand marketer to join the Sales Development arm of our Strategic Solutions team in SiriusXM Media's New York office. Our mission is to create audio-led marketing strategies on behalf of our advertising partners that:

  • Engage, inspire and enlighten consumers

As an individual contributor, you will support a variety of national Fortune 500 accounts, based out of the New York Office. You will be responsible for developing compelling solutions that support our partners' marketing objectives by tapping into the unique benefits of everything under the SiriusXM Media umbrella - including custom podcast content, music partnerships, experiential activations and more. You will influence partner conversations with ideation and storytelling that drives positive growth and business outcomes. As podcast listening continues to rise and become an integral part of the audio mix for marketers, a key function of this role will focus on conceptualizing branded podcast solutions that contribute towards meaningful revenue growth. You will be responsible for educating and inspiring our clients to leverage SiriusXM Media podcast content to enhance their business goals and outcomes. From Team Coco to audiochuck (Crime Junkie), Stitcher Studios, Earwolf, NBCU, Crooked Media, OWN, and other influential contributors, the SiriusXM Podcast Network is a hub for some of today's largest podcasts.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with sales teams to develop insights-driven marketing strategies rooted in podcast and music streaming solutions that meet brand objectives and drive advertising revenue

  • Develop deep knowledge of your book of business and serve as the strategic arm to your sales counterparts

  • Build integrated marketing proposals in response to RFP's that are customized for our clients, displaying expert storytelling and effectively communicating our brands' advantage

  • Leverage a suite of innovative audio and digital products to fuel big idea thinking and development of first-to-market concepts

  • Mine internal and external data as well as industry news for insights to inform and support marketing stories and solution recommendations

  • Serve as central liaison between sales and cross-functional organizations including ArtistMarketing, Events, Podcast Revenue Partnerships, Branded Entertainment, Ad InnovationStrategy, Content Production, Sales Marketing, Research, Legal, etc.

  • Assume leadership role in internal processes associated with intial strategy and ideation, concept vetting and authoring of external-facing proposals, ensuring internal SMEs are activated at apprioriate time and kept informed throughout program lifespan

  • Participate and present in client meetings

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years relevant experience in a digital and/or audio first organization. Agency, Brand, and/or Publisher experience preferred

  • The proven ability to develop strategic, multi-platform marketing strategies

  • Must be curious and self-motivated, staying up on industry trends and ad-tech innovation

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills as well as design prowess

  • Expert proficiency with PowerPoint

  • Ability and interest in presenting in high profile group environments

  • Adept at taking complex solution sets and distilling them into easy to understand ideas that feel tailor-made

  • Team oriented and collaborative nature; ability to build strong relationships with external and internal partners and consensus across many stakeholders

  • Experience utilizing syndicated research, including eMarketer, ComScore and Kantar

  • A love of audio content

  • Podcast marketing familiarity/experience is a plus

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $130,000.00 to $145,125.00 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
