Under the supervision of a Group Care Program Manager, the Hall Supervisor (HS) oversees the milieu and the day-to-day operations of an assigned hall/building in accordance with Norris policies, protocols, and procedures, licensing requirements, placing agency expectations and best practice standards. The HS ensures that hall services address youth needs according to their personalized plans (i.e., treatment, learning, etc.), helps employees implement trauma informed principles, uses and teaches de-escalation techniques, and serves as an overall resource for the hall and leadership team. The HS directly supervises an Assistant Supervisor, Lead Residential Care Specialist and Residential Care Specialists. The HS periodically serves in the Leader on Duty (LOD) role.

The HS ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. As a 24/7 treatment program, the HS position requires the individual to work a flexible schedule in order to support the needs of their hall and the program and understands that their schedule is subject to change to meet the program’s evolving needs at any time, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Special Notes/Instructions
Must successfully complete a caregiver background check, fingerprint scan, physical exam and drug screen. A regular, valid WI driver license is required; eligible to operate Norris vehicles is preferred.
