Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in administering, developing and advancing the company's compensation programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of compensation principles. Enthusiasm, diligence and accountability are must have attributes for this position. This position is a full-time on-site position in our Hunt Valley office.

Duties and responsibilities, include but not limited to the following:

  • Conduct salary surveys;
  • Benchmarking;
  • Respond to requests for compensation reviews and provide recommendations;
  • Maintenance of compensation and job data within HRIS systems;
  • Conduct compliance reviews and audits;
  • Collaborate with HR and Hiring Managers to review and evaluate job structures, competencies, and descriptions, as well as EEO-1 categories;
  • Administer compensation programs, such as annual increases, incentive plan, and rewards and recognition;
  • Support in the administration and implementation of new compensation practices and policies or revisions to existing programs;
  • Analyze data and prepare reports, models and recommendations;
  • Provide data and system support in other functional areas of human resources, such as benefits administration, HR reporting, and personnel records;
  • Other tasks / projects as assigned.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related program of study.
  • HR Generalist background, including experience with compensation work, HRIS systems, and regular use of Excel (including creating formulas, VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
  • Strong information analysis, research, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality.
