Job Description:

Lab Sciences Project Coordinator (LSC) will be the liaison between partners and sites, help to recruit and assess incoming individuals, track, trouble shoot issues and in general manage this program under the supervision of Asst Dean of Workforce and Economic Development.

  • Coordinate Phlebotomy Technician program participants with Community education and Condensed Curriculum international (CCI)content partner. Includes reviewing past participants to see if they meet criteria to reengage.
  • Coordinate participant case management with Project Hope to ensure students are successful.
  • Recruit students including offering information sessions to recruit students and work with incoming students to assess their skills and support needs.
  • Work with Department Chairs and faculty in MLT and MLA programs in the Division of SEM.
  • Work with MGB liaisons to refer and support BHCC students and staff in MLA.
  • Help participants find clinical externships, submit required documents, including CORI checks, and take other necessary steps.
  • Support credential process and required documentation and data requested by the Office workforce development in the forms they require.
  • Work with BHCC marketing PR departments to ensure marketing material creation and effective distribution.
  • Work with BHCC Student support offices to help participants navigate wrap around services and those services not offered by Project Hope.
  • Grant management: keep required documentation including but not limited to budgets, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, track participant outcomes and stipend awards.
  • Lead bi weekly, or periodic check in meetings with stakeholders and partners.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, management, social work or another related field.
  • Program management experience for 1 year or more preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse students preferred. Bilingual preferred.


Additional Information:

Salary & Hours: $35.00/hr. @ 18.5/hrs. wk. Position starts ASAP. The position is part time, MCCC, sick time accrues. No other benefits.

The position is funded until June 30, 2025. The position is hybrid to be determined but with the expectation of coming to campus for student meetings and orientation sessions or to meet partners when applicable.
