YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Environmental Resources Supervisor opportunity in our Holyoke, CO office. The Environmental Resources Supervisor will supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of employees in the following areas of responsibility: site upkeep, lagoon maintenance and management, soil sampling, lagoon and water sampling, equipment and infrastructure maintenance, and all record-keeping related to Environment Resource Management (ERM).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise hourly employees and coordinate all field operational activities, training, and employee development concerning Environmental Resource Management (ERM).
  • Communicate with landowners and tenants on scheduling effluent applications. Identify additional land for effluent applications.
  • Coordinate and schedule all drain line cleaning with production facilities.
  • Maintain all underground irrigation pipelines where effluent applications occur, including valves, chemigation valves, air relief valves, PSI gauges, etc.
  • Communicate and coordinate all testing with appropriate state agencies and state inspectors through the Environmental Engineering Manager and Soil Scientist.
  • Coordinate and organize land application events with the Environmental Management Superintendent.
  • Monitor Anaerobic Waste Retention System (AWRS) levels.
  • Coordinate and schedule vegetation control and establishment measures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 1+ years of Agriculture-related field experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Must possess or can obtain a water treatment operator class S
  • Must have knowledge of trucks, tractors, and all phases of irrigation operations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.

SCHEDULE

  • This is a first-shift position, supervisors are required to be on-call based on business needs.

COMPENSATION

We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. The starting compensation in Holyoke, CO for this position is $60,000+.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Rol will be a combination of an office environment and fieldwork.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
