We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our Digital Transformation team. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing our company's digital capabilities, focusing on master data management, data governance, and driving technology innovations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership skills, communication abilities, and a background in technology, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and driving our data architecture to new heights. This position is a remote opportunity and will report to the Director, Master Data Management.

You will make a difference in the following ways:

  • Data Modeling and Architecture Design: Designing data models and architecture that support new digital initiatives, including cloud-based solutions, IoT, AI, and machine learning applications.
  • Data Integration and Management: Ensuring seamless data integration between new digital solutions and existing IT systems, focusing on interoperability, data consistency, and quality.
  • Collaboration with IT and Business Teams: Working closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to identify their data needs and to ensure that the data architecture meets these requirements.
  • Overseeing Implementation of Data Solutions: Guiding the implementation of data solutions within digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with architectural plans.
  • Advising on Data Technologies: Recommending appropriate data technologies (such as databases, data warehousing, and analytics tools) that support digital transformation goals.
  • Ensuring Scalability and Performance: Designing data systems that are scalable and capable of handling the increased data loads and performance demands of digital transformation initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science and a minimum seven (7) years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions to drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Governance principles.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
  • Experience with data integration and designing data feeds for critical business systems, including integrating traditional data architectures with new digital technologies.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $112,300 to $150,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant#s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
