Job Description
  • Ability to learn and perform several job functions of the Manufacturing plant.
  • Learn and perform the responsibilities of the Add Roll Operator.
  • Sets up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs.
  • Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following instructions and the skill to operate the equipment.
  • Cleans, lubricates and maintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation.
  • Troubleshoots and maintains equipment to keep it in running condition, requests maintenance as required.
  • Learn and perform the responsibilities of the Warehouse operation, material loading and unloading, material pickup, waste pick up, waste recording, recording materials in MIPS, paper staging and unwrapping, wrapping rolls.
  • Learn and perform the responsibilities of the Press service position.
  • Learn and perform the responsibilities of the Forms Packer.
  • Learn and perform the Ink/Cage responsibilities as a backup replacement.
  • May provide training for new team members.
  • Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow SOP's for all job functions.

Qualifications
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift/pull minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of general work safety practices and personal protective equipment.
  • Weekends and overtime required.
  • Self starter and ability to troubleshoot a Must
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Additional Information

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $14.50 - $19.25 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
