Description

The Director of Employee Education directs the design, planning and implementation of corporate training programs.

  • Directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company
  • Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs
  • Develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants
  • Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training
  • Through needs assessments, identifies learning solutions and programs
  • Approves new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs
  • Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs
  • Manages and develops training professionals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Business or related experience
  • 5+ years management experience and training/facilitating experience; instructional design experience; experience with implementing training programs in a high-volume environment and conducting needs analysis and back-end analytics to measure success

Skills:

  • Preferred proficiency in BAI, as well as, other LMS platforms; Microsoft including Excel, Word and PowerPoint; basic keyboarding and calculator skills' must be able to perform simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
