Job Description
The PIM (Product Information Management) coordinator will take ownership of our data management in both Main Frame and Syteline systems. They will constantly evaluate all current and new data to ensure that it is complete, accurate and updated in a timely manner. PIM is responsible for the administration and support of the product information management process to include the importation, delivery, and support of all product content. PIM will manage the details of product content resources, data quality, and governance. This position will monitor and report on key data measurements, data issue resolution, and synchronizing content between our data platforms and various content resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the details of product content resources, data quality, and governance.
  • Monitor and report on key data measurements, data issue resolution, and synchronizing content between our data platforms and various content resources.
  • Ensure clear understanding of the application, supporting infrastructure, and systems integration.
  • Provide application troubleshooting, monitoring and problem resolution to all internal and external contacts.
  • Lead in the development of new processes to improve the company’s data management goals.
  • Identify and report to the leadership team opportunities to leverage the PIM application to improve business processes, data governance and support efficiency efforts cross-functionally across the business.
  • Build and publish reports for supply management to include late orders, actual lead times vs. contract lead times, actual spend by item and supplier.
  • Using systems data for PO’s, lead time, actual ship time, build supplier on time reporting to be used in supplier score carding.
  • Oversee governance, business processes, applications, data integrations and technology needed in response to the changing business environment.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to complete and migrate the required product data, technical data, marketing data and digital assets into PIM.
  • Compile, development, and preset actionable insights to drive business decisions aimed at meeting departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Advanced understanding of business processes, standards and practices around product data.
  • Knowledge of data workflow and content management
  • Lead initiatives to onboard product content into the PIM, collaborating with product management and marketing teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.


    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
 
  • Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional query skills against relational databases & files (Excel, Access, or SQL)
  • Analyzing and solving problems in a an efficient, detailed, and methodical manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including process-driven flow charts
  • Strong detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to convey complex analytics in an understandable manner to non-technical levels

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ experience with PIM solutions
